"Change the Channel" was a tribute to one of the hardest years of my life. When I began this series of images for Inktober, I didn't know where it would go. Though once I started, I knew I had to finish. The final image is this compilation of all the individual pieces as I had originally intended. I had a lot of friends tell me that this was too dark or that it wasn't like me, and were bothered by the images themselves.
I realized that all of this stuff had been festering under the surface, and I finally had a chance to get it out in the open. I'm glad that it's out now and no longer an itch in the back of my brain. Finishing the work, feels like an open wound can start to heal. Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy the work.
Alex!
